Our PTA provides funding and coordinates support and volunteers for a number of programs at the school. These programs are designed to enhance our kids’ normal curriculum with additional outside learning opportunities. Below are a few of the amazing programs we will have this year!
Casey from Celebrate Calm will be performing ACE’s first virtual assembly. Casey will speak to the children about coping with anxiety in school, dealing with change, improving communication with parents, teachers, and friends, and improve focus and attention at home and school. The students will watch a 15-30min presentation in their classrooms or at home if they are with KVA.
ACE STEAM Family Night at Home
On Friday October 9th from 6-8pm ACE will be having our first STEAM night at home. Families can pay $5 a child (sign up will be on PTA spirit wear website) and they will be provided with a supply bag of a night full of STEAM activities. Also, Seven Lakes High School Robotics Club will be performing a zoom presentation. The interactive and exciting activities will definitely make for an awesome family night at home!
On September 20-November 13, your student will have the opportunity to participate in this year’s Reflections program. The theme this year is “I Matter Because,” and students can submit dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, or visual arts projects. The submission forms will be at school, and your student can pick one up there and it will also be posted on facebook that you can print at home. Be on the lookout on September 20 for the submission forms and more information on Reflections.
